Artist Ni Po U
Artist Ni Po U, Member of GNWP (Global Network Watercolor Painters) Japan was born in Thaton township, Mon state, Myanmar. In his initial artist life, he studied art under Art Master Kyitelatt U Win Maung. His education background was physics and he graduated B.A Painting with Hons. In 2007, he established Art Tree Art gallery and studio. He had joined over 70 local and international group art exhibitions from USA, China, India and France. Due to his excellency in paint art, in 2008, he achieved Second Prize at “Beauty of Myanmar 4”, Competition for Free Hand in Painting, First Prize at Best Painting of the year by Tun Foundation Bank and he was selected as a final List, Myanmar Contemporary Art Award, River Gallery, Yangon and in 2009 he received First Prize at Post Nargis Portrait Competition, Central Co-Operative.
