Artist Aung Sint
Artist Aung Sint was born in Dawei Township, Taninthar Yi Region, Myanmar, 1968. In 2002, he acquired a Bachelor of Arts (Honoris Causa) in Sculpture, National University of Art and Culture, Yangon, Myanmar. During his student life, he studied art from art masters, U Ba Tun Tin, U Khin Hlaing, U Thit Lwin Soe, U Mya Aye, U Hsay Yoe, U Kyaw Lay, U Myit San, U Soe Tint, U Win Pe Myint and U Lun Gywe. From 1993 to 2004, he served as Tutor, Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer (Drawing and Art Anatomy). With a total of 45 art shows, 21 have been shown in local and 24 have shown abroad including China, USA, Japan, Korea, Italy, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Due to his brilliant artwork, he received 3 international awards and 3 local awards.
