Tin Htay Aung
Artist Tin Htay Aung was born in Aung Lan Township, Magway region which is located in central Myanmar, 1975. He graduated B.A Art in 1997 from the National University of Art and Culture (Yangon) and started showing up in the art exhibitions since 1998. In 2007, he graduated M.A Oil Painting from China Academy of Art. In 2014, he achieved his Ph.D. from China Academy of Art. He has strong academic art background as he worked as a tutor, principal, assistant director, lecturer in many art education organizations and now he is working as an associate professor at the National University of Art and Culture (Mandalay) in order to nurture the potential artists through the art education. He has a successful milestone as an artist with the experience of 18 overseas art exhibitions in China, Philippines, Malaysia, Korea, and 4 solo exhibitions in the Mandalay region of Myanmar.
