Artist Yi Yi Khin
Artist Yi Yi Khin, a full time artist was born in Mogok Township, Mandalay Division, Myanmar in 1960 from the parents, U Hla Shwe and Daw Htay. From 1977 to 1980, she studied art at the State School of Fine Art, Yangon, under the art masters U M.Tin Aye, U Thu Kha, U Ba Lon Lay, U Sein Aung and Yukiwun. Throughout her career as a full time artist, she had participated over 70 art exhibitions both in local and abroad. She had received Special Prize for The Best Painting of the Year 2010 by Tun Foundation Bank.
